New Car Breakdown Cover

Whether you have opted to buy a new car or lease one, you will probably find that your shiny new vehicle comes with at lease one years breakdown cover included. Of course this breakdown cover is contracted out, normally to one of the big service providers such as the RAC or the AA, but the bottom line is, should you breakdown, someone will be there to help you.

Of course in the real world very few vehicles breakdown when they are brand new, apart form the fact there are mo maintenance issues, which is the main reason why cars breakdown in the first place, drivers do tend to be more cautious when driving and so avoid other issues that may incur a cal out.

For those who have chosen car lease as a way of driving their new car, the same rules apply, you are the owner (on paper) of this car and the breakdown cover policy will cover you, or the car depending on the exact policy. In fact car lease can be more protective, as you can ring the lease supplier and they should be able to help you with any breakdowns also.

There still may be times when you need to call out the breakdown cover guys even with a new car. For example, locking those those keys in the car can happen new car or old. The problem here is, modern cars are harder to steal than old, so even these guys may not get in.

Clipping the kerb and damaging the wheels or suspension, can also be an example, in better words driving issues or very small shunts can call for the breakdown cover service, even on a new car, bought or leased.

Understanding Roadside Assistance

The terminology of Roadside Assistance is used internationally as the service that will come and fix your car by the road and get you going again. But in the UK it takes on a slightly different slant. Breakdown cover is the general term used and roadside assistance is used for the cheapest or basic service by most of the large nationwide operators.

In Australia and the States you will struggle to find anyone advertising their service as breakdown cover and roadside assistance will be the main term.
Even so, you will find that UK operators will still make a slant on those words to be different, such as a single word, "Roadside".

It is important to understand this as many insurance companies offer roadside assistance free with their car insurance polices. This seems a good deal, except many will be accepting a roadside assistance policy when they really need something more substantial like a recovery service included deal, or home start. It may be free, but just may not be suitable, without paying more money to upgrade, which of course most will not do.

I have been looking through the few old posts and I have to admit they are amusing from going to Tony Robbins for the first time, U2 concert and more. It hasn't really changed much over the years, i am still strugling to do the same thing.

My breakdown cover site is still there, but with another addition to the family and that is Financebam another financial site, that I am now behind with. Most of this site is aimed at comparison through many finacial products including Breakdown Cover Comparison.

I am now busier than ever.

Breakdown Insurance

There are so many ways to describe the services of breakdown cover and the second most popular based on internet searches is breakdown insurance. Of course it desribes the service better than breakdown cover to the extent that most Amercans do not know what breakdown cover is, but can figure the breakdown insurance bit out.

Anyway, I found my own blog, by looking for my existing blog on mu main site. Of course i knew where it was, it was more of a rankings thing and of course it was number one.

But my old blog, this one was number 8th, so I thought i would revisit and ad another post. It is a shame i do not spend more time on this, but I am lazy, if i remember i will.

You know when you start this blogging thing, you , yes put aside an hour a day to bring together some fantastic thoughts on the subjectof Car Breakdown Cover and voila, I would have a fantastic source of information. But of course does this happen? No!!
Quite the opposite, no sooner had I started I had quit. I don't even know why I have come back to check on things.
Never mind I have admitted it is ages since my last post and will attempt to do better. I do know it will not be everyday, so i may just aim for a bit here and there.

Well here i go again, stating that it has been along time since my last blog and it is true. I thought this blogging lark would be easy with an abundence of information to tell you all.
But i have go to admit having the patience to do this everyday is quite hard.
I have started my own blog directrly on my site it is called breakdown blog but i am also struggling to add relevant content.
i suppose there is a difference, the webblog on Breakdown cover is relevant to breakdown cover where as this blog was the difficulties of running a breakdown cover website.

It is back to the summer months again and as everyone moves to their garden and away from the computer screen, getting visitors is as big of challenge than ever.
the G the famous search engine, you know who i mean has gone or is going through a big change in its searp results, so all of us webmasters are just glued to our screens on a daily basis, it really does seem to take a long time to get things sorted out. Are we really in the 21st century, what happened to the overnight uploads?

I hope you all are enjoying your summer but please don't avoid the computer altogether.

It has been nearly 6 months since my last blog. Yes 6 months but I have bben mega busy.
First of all this is now a full time job, running my sites.
Yet with all this time I have had no time to blog!!! Amazing.

Funny thing this breakdown cover lark. You would think that more people would be away in thier cars during summer, knocking up more miles. But the reality is that less people seem to want breakdown cover during this time. Maybe people don't mind breakdown down they just dn'e want to do it in the cold. One exception is European Breakdown Cover , wher there seem to be a small increase. Thank god for that foreign driving.

Well Easter is over and you can see that the weather is getting slightly better here in the UK. Our clocks went back last week so nights are a bit lighter too. Chances are les and less of us will be on the net . Or at least later in the night.

Well its 1am UK time and I am still here in front of the laptop. I have had a few breaks but I seem to have too much to do to go to bed. I am at work again tommorow so really shoule be there ages ago.
My laptop is wireless so I can watch TV as I go. A touch of Frost has just been on and now it Nascar racing straight from the US.

breakdown cover is pretty much as it was 12 hours ago but I have been working on my wifes mobile phone site. I may release its address soon.

It was designed to be an easy shopping site but until recently did not appreciate how much competition there is in a easy shopping site.
mobile phone deals is one of the pages from it. My attempt to keep everything easy for the customer.
Problem is its hard to find me first.

Well its been a while since my last blog but inbetween trips to amsterdam, time at work and as usual working on my sites, blogging has been the least of my priorites. One of things I have been trying to do is create quality content for my site. I have been adding pages for things like "what do I do if I breakdown?". I found some really helpful info off a police information site. Of course I stated where the info came from to keep it Cosha. But I am finding it increasingly hard to find good subjects to tlk about, relevant to car breakdowns without it sounding like a sales message. Of course it is a sale message in that it is my living but I would like to get the balance right.

Hi,
One of themost time consuming things in maintaining a website is broken links. The suppiers I use often change banners without telling me and sometimes I just don't read the e-mails as I receive over 100 a day mostly junk.

My finance page http://www.breakdown-cover.net/finance.htm is the lates victim 3 banners off the apge are now not working. It doesn't look proffessional I can understand why someone would go to another site. So this weekend I will be reairing this.

sandoxed Breakdown Cover

Hi,
I still cant fnd www.breakdown-cover.net for certain search terms on google. I have learned that if a site grows too quicky, google penilise this with knoocking you way down the rankings for a period of time. This is known as the Sandbox effect. It only happens to reletivly new sites which it is. It can take 3 months or so to come back although this has happened once before and it took about 9 days. Its frustrating for those who have genuine sites as it has been put in place for to fight spammers.
There is nothing wriiten about sandbox with google that I can find it seems to be an unwritten rule with all involved in SEO. Heres hopping its temporary.

I spend a bit of time on forums to try and learmn and improve my SEO techniques.
Lots of info there on sites that looking good in the search engines but then the next day disapear altogether. Well I have had one of those days. I find www.breakdown-cover.net has moved up one plane on MSN (no longer bottom of first page. Excellent) at the same time is not now anywhere on Google for best breakdown cover or breakdown cover. What is going on?

It can be boreing sitting next to your laptop hours on end trying to show people where to find your site but it certainly hots up when all your good work disapears in one day.

I have just found out that a site that was set up over a year ago with newreg is now number 3 on google for the term "private car reg".
The site www.shopbam.newreg.com sells car regictrations, infact you can get 99% of all avavilable registrations from here.

The best thing is I haven't even worked on it. I have links from shopbam and breakdown cover but that is all. Anyway I am well chuffed.

Hi,
I have been putting sites together for a few years now. I want to be able to be financialy independant. Just over a year ago I joined forces with newreg to sell Private registrations using my Shopbam site and logo as its trade name. It didn't create any income so I forgot about it, but still left links on my Shopbam site and brekdown cover site.
What a surprise today to find that for the keywords "private car reg" my site www.shopbam.newreg.com is number 3 on google.
Amazing considering I have not been working on promoting the site.

Cream Tickets

Hi,
As if I hadn't learned my lesson from trying to get U2 tickets, yesterday consisited of ringing then consistenty redialing for cream tickets for their tickets at the Albert hall. All I got was a consistant engaged noise and could not get on thier website as it stated their server was too busy.
When I did get through I was told they were sold out. Almost imediatly tickets were on E-Bay at hughe prices. Never mind my business www.breakdown-cover.net is on the econg page of MSN for best breakdown cover and 4th for breakdown cover do I did have some good news that day.
No more concerts comming up so time to focus on mu site.

U2 Tickets

Hi again,
Well my priorities in life have changed over the last few days. U2 have released tickets for thier UK shows. I spent from 9.00am until it was classed as sold out trying to get tickets. Without any luck my www.breakdown-cover.net was ignored, in fact everything was ignored and the only thing important seemed to be those tickets. Looking on e-bay that night we saw 2 tickets for £650 with 12 hours to go which bugged me even more as I wanted to go to the show and was not buying purely to sell on E-Bay. Anyway today a bit of luck. even though it still said sold out on the front main page a friend of mine went in anyway and sure enough allowed him to buy some seated tickets. Well I was home asap and 4 tickets are now confired even though these are the expensivce ones. There is no doubt that you can make money on e-bay selling the right tickets.

Hi,
Well its my second day of blogging and I am off work and working on a new site. However as ever there is also a bit of maintanence on my existing site www.breakdown-cover.net . It seem that the new FSA regulations may also cover breakdown cover as it may be classed as an isurance policy. This isn't totally clear to me yet as you may have guessed.
Html is not my strongpoint, however I would like to think that the business side is. This is why I am new to blogging and general web related stuff. So as I sit here doing mu site it is often 2 steps forward and 1 back. Never mind at least I am moving forward. When the new site is ready I wil post it.

Hi again,
Well my main goal in life is to be an expert in internet advertising (I know, many out there). But unlike others, providing I can make a living I would be happy. i am quite a successful mananger of a large UK store but long and silly hours come with the job and I am ready for something that gives me a better quality of life.
Being at home working on my computer around my wife and kids is superb. I can get up when I want go to bed when I want. I just cant wait.
Its a 2 year plan and nearly on course. I know many have failed but i am prepared to give it a go.
